More wierdness. Ground very slightly finer 1.3.2>1.3.3 and got a sharper shot. It was nowhere near as intense and felt a bit watery even in 200ml of milk. Previoulsy I had a shot that made me swithc to a 250ml cup. This shot took a couple of seconds longer evn though it shoul;d have taken a couple of seconds less. Otherwise the curves for this and previous shot mtches well.
Interestingly this slight acidity when drunk directly from the shot was quite nice.
What can be going on? The water tank is nearly empty so I will flush and top up with third wave water at half strength.
I love this bean and got a rich intensity from the outset, stull trying to dial out a slight hint of cellulose, but not enough to detract from the enjoyment. Will definitely buy more!
