At 1.3.4 and no bnottom paper filter, this was the best recent shot. Not completely getting rid of that cardbaord favout but much sweeter. TIt was slighlty on the bitter side, but with that balanced the milk nicely. The finish was clean and generally a nice shot with that ever present slight cardboardiness that I cant full renove. Some of this may be the bean getting into a better window havin offloaded some CO2. However, the only thihing I can think now might be a slight temperature drop. Worth a try.
This was unsealed in the freezer for 7 weeks, but seems to have lost something. Need to do more checks, but theres not much pleasant fragrance. Compared to the last bag I did change to third wave coffee water and stop using a paer filter. Maybe I need to go back to doing it the same. More testing needed.
If it’s the freezer, maybe I need to store at the back or in the ice container rather trhan in the door!
