One of my favourites and great to see that a second bag is giving me the same wonderful flavours as the first.
I normally like a shot slightly leaning towards bitter to balance the milk and partly just becasue I like that flavour. This shot maybe leant a little too far that way, but that did give it a wonderful intensity and mouth feel so I don’t want to mess with it too much as this is a very pleasant bitterness.
So, two options: grind a little coarser, or run it a little longer - maybe 30g? I’ll dwell on it.
BTW, I am noticing the the flow forward on the Gaggimate is cutting in a little late, so mught be time to make it a bit more agressive.
Second time I have had this winderful coffee. Although it has a night plum like fruitiness I prefer to make a more intense, syrupy and slihghtly bitter shot that has really nice mouth feel and balances milk perfectly. Grinding somewhere in teh low end of1.3.x
