First attempt at this Sarnies blend. Not a total disaster, but it did come out to obitter and a bit watery. After doing this I experimented with the scace and found in basket temperatures to be around 6C below recipe. This might explain why I have had to grind fine and go long to get decent quality and why light roasts have been on the limit. Next shot should be 36grams and hotter. The extra heat will make the shot run faster (does that mean more ssour or not?), but the extra output will mak it more bitter. Very hard to tell. Frankly, I think I will keep the grind size the same and just see what happens!
Initial impression (from a poorly dialled shot) is that this is plain old coffee shop stuff. I need to dial it in better before making a final decision.
