Notes:

Quitre a bit better. Still a very slight hint of cardboard and a dry bitter after taste, so need to try going coarser again. Keep an eye an the portafilter to look out for blonding. However, it may be possible to increase the yield.

Coffee bag notes:

Slightly darker than the Brazil Toucan. Crushes easily under the thumb, but not too many fines produced. Slight hints of surface oil on a few beans.

After trying to brew this for 4-5 shots now I strongly suspect this coffee is not fresh and that tghe roast date is not honest. It gives a weak watery coffee with poor mouth feel. It also blonds very early.

I like CherryDog coffees, but they don’t put the roast dates on the bag and twice now I have bought 3 bags of coffee only to be told they were all roasted on the same day and exactly a week ago.
