Notes:
Something isn't working! There was a hsift in extraction a few weeks ago. This bean has been frozen since last use, but an identical extraction to the last one resulted in a super nasty sour flavor despite very similar extraction curves. It was also weeak and unpleasant in the milk. What happened!!!!!
Coffee bag notes:
This is a 4 way blend (see photo) that is made to be like a classic Italian coffee, whatever that is.
I’ve been grinding at about 1.3.0 which runs very fast, but still tastes well balanced with the flow limiting profile.
The non drying bitter after taste reminds me of an Indonesian robusta that I tried at the show, but my experince with this is very limited so who knows if it was that 10% Robusta coming through.
