| Brew: Note | Trying my custom profile again which is supposed to be blooming but it ran fast, and still turned out really nice. Compared to Bambino again this time I'm using the Weber basket and paper on bottom vs the Bambino pressurized basket with 16g in. I did a bloom using the Bambino by stopping the pump and resuming it after a delay. The non plus Bambino doesn't disrupt the coffee bed so you can kind of do that. Bambino shot appears more cloudy and light colored probably due to pressurized basket. Taste was sweet but more blended and lower clarity. Still turned out nice but the met which ran faster too so not a fair comparison was a lot higher clarity and cleaner. Very nice. Will try again with this profile grinding finer or using a different basket maybe. |
