Bean: NoteThis coffee is a snapshot of place, grown on 5 hectares at 1,845 masl in Cajamarca by second-generation producer Praxides Pintado. For years, his farm focused on yield and resilience, until the introduction of Panamanian-lineage Gesha seeds reshaped his vision. What began as a quest for better income evolved into a pursuit of beauty, complexity, and market-defining quality. This Gesha undergoes an extended 72-hour fermentation in sealed bags to enhance depth and aromatic expression. After fermentation, itโ€™s dried slowly over 12 days without washing, preserving the integrity of the flavor compounds developed during processing. Weโ€™ve roasted it ultra-light to let the nuances shine. Expect coffee blossom and rose tea, with honeyed sweetness and bright tropical notes of passionfruit/raspberry and ripe peach, a high-clarity Peruvian Gesha with structure and softness.
