| Brew: Note | [prep] clean. Good RDT and WDT. Single tap to compact good double tamp without mess. No attempt at extra leveling. [pull] slower than normal ramp up while screen blossomed. Then pull into 6+ bars. Relatively quick but with decent resistance. Hit ristretto range within a .5g margin of error. [milk] remembered to hold by handle and get good grip and positioning before starting. This was closer to an ideal aeration with probably a finished expansion of ~30%. Nice long vortex and thermometer stalled at ~62C. [art] a little thicker milk (which is what I was aiming for) slightly through me off my game. Integration started well but ended with extra floaters. Slightly mis landed my pour (my bad distracted) which left a non symmetrical and poorly centered heart without crisp lines. [taste] where it lacked in beauty it made up for in taste. Nice and punchy and the milk was very sweet and almost perfect consistency. |
