Note | Campo Hermoso - The Coffee's Excellence by Edwin NoreΓ±a The Campo Hermoso farm belongs to Edwin NoreΓ±a, one of the pioneers in the world of speciality coffee in Colombia, with over 20 years of experience in the field. Campo Hermoso has been part of Edwin's family since he was a young boy, and he has been nurturing it ever since. After joining the renowned SENA in Armenia (one of Colombiaβs most important coffee hubs), Edwin began his career as a trainer in green coffee selection. Following 10 years at SENA, he pursued his passion by working as a private consultant for coffee farms. Despite an initial challenge with the Santuario project, in 2020 he decided to focus all his expertise and curiosity on his beloved Campo Hermoso farm. About this special lot: The cherries for this special lot are harvested at over 23 degrees Brix and undergo a 96-hour carbonic maceration. They then enter a second 48-hour anaerobic fermentation stage, where the coffee beans are mixed with 100% of the cherry pulp and enriched with a blend of fresh and dehydrated red fruits (such as blueberries, strawberries, cherries, raspberries, and blackberries), alongside Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast, amino acids, and glucose. The coffee is then sun-dried on African beds, covered with a special screen for the first 48 hours to ensure impeccable quality. it's a red berry bomb 𧨠|
