| Brew: Note | [prep] clean, little retention and good tamp. [pull] good workflow, short pre infusion and nice retention for a short ramp up and flat 6 bar shot nearly hitting target of 28.5 (off by 0.6g). [milk] started out well but holding the barrel of the jug got too hot (still learning) and that made me fidget enough to let in more air. Though it was controlled and so it resulted in anther 10% of expansion (estimate ~40%). [art] high aeration meant that integration left a lot of white on the surface and the heart was overly fluffy and large. Which means I pretty much just made a traditional cappuccino with a hint of a heart. [taste] very nice even bite of coffee (good extraction) and the milk was delicious if foamy. And accidental best cup of the week. |
