| Bean: Name | Mystery Coffee 04/26: La Chirimoya❓🇵🇪 |
| Bean: Note | After a long search for the right bean, I stumbled upon this one, tried a sample a while back and immediately liked it. We had been trying to source an African bourbon, but unfortunately nothing really impressed us. Then, at the last moment, one box was released and Chris and I decided to grab it. I chose to roast it ultra light, as I got the impression there are a lot of (ultra) light lovers out there. The plan was to release an early batch, but I made a stupid mistake and accidentally mixed in some other beans, so that one had to go. This roast has impressed me the most so far. Right after the roast I brewed a cup and it was extremely floral. After week one it did drop off quite a bit, but give it some time, it will open up beautifully! |
