| Brew: Note | 1. Pressure again didn’t start the timer. 2. At a 0.5.2 grind and a couple extra seconds of water on the puck (late timer start) the resistance was barely holding over 5 bars. 3. Spring pull targeting 6 bars and a 28.5 yield. Overshot by a gram. 4. Decent taste with a nice bite but not a lot of nuance. 5. Milk steaming was a little better. Got a little more expansion than yesterday. 6. Ok pour. My landing was a little close to the top and my pitcher wasn’t straight so the heart is a little asymmetrical. But not terrible for an amateur. Summary: all things considered this was a pretty typical successful shot. |
