| Brew: Note | [prep] All very good and by-the-book. Even retained the extra 0.1g all the way through. I am really getting good at that little extra twist at the end of tamping that gives a super clean puck before I put on the screen. [pull] Had to push timer start button twice so likely another second of soak compared to yesterday. Other than that to my eyes appears to be just as good and even as yesterday just with a shorter shot ending at 27.4 in about 27 seconds of active lever time. [milk] none. [art] in my soul. [taste] A very nice, lively if somewhat acidic shot. I notice where the balance came from yesterday with some sweetness and texture left in the purge water. Still somewhat thin but with more body than yesterday. Try to decide if we go straight to milk or make another adjustment. |
