Brew: Note[prep] 2 full sprays of RDT and it was neither to wet or too dry. Good grind, WDT, and tamp with minimum loss or retention. I’ve gotten really good at ending the tamp with that little twist that Normcore recommends for it’s spring loaded tampers. [pull] attempted more of a natural 6 bar spring than trying to hit 8+ bars quickly. But something went wrong with the pressure sensor, scale, or Beanconqueror and it stopped recording the shot a little early as I eased off at 24g. I see the flow going to 0 even with a pressure of 4.3 bars. The actual shot ran to 37g. [milk] very highly controlled and held to a very silky 180 - 190ml from 145g of cold milk. Very sweet and slightly thin in the pouring pitcher. [art] not bad. My integration mix was nice but I was a little flat on the art pour. I need to stop rotating my cup on the mix. [taste] keeping it to around 6 bars does nice things for the sweetness and richness while keeping the acidity lively. It could be more syrupy and have a stronger punch for the milk though. Still much better tasting than the last couple of days.
